The ARFIDO security zone
is high quality RFID security labels designed specially for library materials and RFID exit detectors protecting against taking books outside the library in an uncontrolled and unlawful way.
ARFIDO security detector - protection and identification of the book collection
The RFID system enables protection and also identification of books taken through the security detector, which distinguishes it from standard security systems. The ARFIDO security detector is equipped with software called: detector monitor recording events which are then displayed on the computer monitors of the library security or personnel. Additionally, the program detector report can be installed - which monitors events and alarms from all installed detectors and creates reports required by the user.

Security detectors, i.e. RFID antennas are installed at the library exits. The number of used antennas depends on how wide the pass is. When the reader goes through the detector the information from the RFID label are read and communicated to the system. The book status data saved in the label make it impossible to unlawfully take the secured items outside - the detector reacts with light and sound.
The ARFIDO detectors are compatible with the library collection management software informing about the books being taken out and into the library. The library employee can check the alarm reports with the information on the author, title and status of the item. The detector system in the RFID technology can identify up to 30 objects at the same time.
The ARFIDO detectors are available in ABS plastic or in wood casing.
ARFIDO library label - tagging and securing the book collection
The ARFIDO library label is identification and effective protection of the book at the same time. It is a specially made very high quality self-adhesive label, equipped with a memory chip, which increases the functionality of all library processes.

The RFID label communicates with the reader via radio waves sending the information contained in the chip. The label memory has a unique number which identifies the book clearly in the database of the collection management system.
The label chip is equipped with sufficient memory to enter additional information on the item, such as catalogue number, title, inventory number. It significantly facilitates ordering and protection of the book collection, in particular if the connection with the library system is cut off.
The Philips chip enables more than 100,000 reprogrammings; it also has a 10-year warranty.
